We were recently so blessed when we, by purpose not chance, were contacted by Hank Hough of Kingdom Dog Ministries about 2 of our Labradoodle puppies.
Although skeptical at first, we were quickly so taken with Hank and his mission, The Great Comission. Hank speaks at churches, schools, outdoor expo's and events. He is a trainer, hunter, and a really nice guy. We were so touched by his positive attitude, christian purpose, and humbleness. We instantly felt like friends. Hank teaches about "the power of obedience in the life of the believer." He uses his love of his Labrador Retrievers and their love and obedience to him, to teach about the boundless unconditional love, protection, and provision for us, by God. He has the most awesome names for his dogs, he calls them by scripture.
Pictures from above were in October of 2010 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Hank used 2 of our puppies in his presentation. As an elementary teacher, I can say I learned that having two adorable puppies really helps hold the attention of elementary kids! These puppies went on to live with two wonderful families in the Wichita Falls area. He spoke at three schools on that rainy/stormy morning and demonstrated the obedience and training of his Labs. Students, families, and the public were invited back to the expo center the next day to a big "outdoor" event to hear more from Hank. He ended that weekend by speaking on Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls. Whew, he is a busy guy. He travels and speaks all over the place.
